DESCRIPTION:Powder River Music Revue currently produces the Summer Concert Series in Baker City\, Oregon. Held each Sunday from mid-June until through August in our beautiful Geiser-Pollman Park\, the concert series features many local and regional musical artists who share a wide range of musical styles. \nUnless otherwise noted\, each event begins at 4 p.m. and runs until 6 p.m. The park has many trees for shade so even on the warmest of days\, the park remains much cooler than other areas. There are some fixed seating options\, but we encourage our audience members to bring their own chairs or blankets\, get comfortable\, and enjoy the warm summer days with a couple of hours of FREE music. \nBaker Youth Venture will be at the Concert in the Park\, June 28th @ 2:00-3pm – all kids are welcome to bring an instrument & receive free musical instruction.  We will also be selling refreshments at the concerts to go toward a Youth Center building!   \nJune 28 – Inland Northwest Musicians with the Baker Community Choir (Salute to America) \n \nJuly 5 – Calico Bones (Folk/Americana) \nJuly 12 – James Dean Kindle & his Country Combo (Country/Americana) \nJuly 19 – John Woodard/Debbie Freidman/Lindianne Sappington (Folk) \nJuly 26 – Too Bamboo (Americana/Blues) \nAugust 2 – Kupenga Marimba \nAugust 9 – Wasteland Kings (Country/Americana) \nAugust 16 – Never Come Down (Bluegrass) \nAugust 23 – Matt Cooper Trio (Jazz) \nAugust 30 (Johnny Star & Easy Keys (Eclectic Americana)

DESCRIPTION:Miners Jubilee is a three-day celebration of Baker County’s gold mining heritage that has been held annually\, in one form or another\, since the late 1800s. Miners Jubilee is held on the third weekend of July in Baker City\, Oregon. \nThis event brings the heritage and history of Baker County to life with a parade\, vendors in the park\, a food court\, live music\, sidewalk sales\, mining demonstrations\, and kids’ activities. Bronc riding on Friday night and bull riding on Saturday night round out a full weekend of events that draw family and class reunions to Baker City every year. \n  \nGold Panning Championship 2026\n\nGet ready for the 2026 Annual Oregon State Panning Championship at Miners Jubilee! \nThe Eastern Oregon Mining Association invites you to join us for this exciting event. Test your gold panning skills or cheer on the competitors as they compete for top prizes—generously supported by Ashgrove Cement. \nExplore authentic mining equipment displayed along the street\, with clear signs explaining how each piece works. We can’t go back in time\, but this weekend comes close with Oregon Trail Days\, presented by Crossroads Carnegie Art Center and the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center. \nOn Saturday\, June 13\, activities will be set up in Geiser-Pollman Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with family-friendly activities\, demonstrations and performances. This year’s event celebrates trail history\, as well as the mining\, timber and ranching industries. \nAdmission is free!
