Known for boating, fishing, camping, swimming, paddle sports, and shoreline trails, Phillips Lake boasts scenic views of the Elkhorn Mountains and a forested shoreline. The area includes multiple access points such as Union Creek, Southeast Shore day-use areas, and trailheads.

You’ll find a boat launch at the Union Creek Campground parking area.

The entire shoreline trail offers a 16-mile loop around the lake, suitable for hikers and mountain bikers.

Find year-round fishing (including ice fishing in the winter).

From Main Street, head south and continue onto Dewey Ave / OR-7 for 20 miles. Various recreation sites surround the lake, including the Southeast Shore trailhead, North Shore trail, Union Creek Campground, Southwest Shore Campground, Millers Lane Campground, and Dean Creek trailhead.
