Getting There
Take OR-7 west toward Sumpter, continue through Granite, cross the Elkhorn Mountains toward Anthony Lakes Mountain Resort, descend through Haines, and return to Baker City. Allow 5-7 hours with stops.
Seasons
The road between Sumpter and Anthony Lakes may be closed during winter weather conditions.
