First Friday Art Walk is an exciting opportunity to engage in Baker City’s vibrant art scene. There are at least six galleries and/or businesses participating each month depending on the time of year. Come and enjoy local and regional artists’ work on a walk through town, catch a drink at our fine distillery and microbrews, and eat at a variety of restaurants. It is a great way to shop, appreciate the arts, and the community of Baker City. The arts are an extraordinary part of Baker City. Come and see for yourself!
Opening of “Creative Chaos” by Kathy Pennnington, Pattie Young, and Andrea Stone: June 5th, 2026

A collaborative group show by local artists, Andrea Stone, Kathy Pennigton, and Pattie Young make beauty from chaos and disorder with repurposed pieces and parts. Letting the materials be the guide, they explore meaning of line, shape, form, space, color, value, and texture using metal, fabric, paint, porcelain, and glass. Through this process these artists create the opportunity to use chaos for good, creativity and love.
This group show will bring not only beauty but warmth and whimsy as the bond of family and friends embrace the gallery in the month of June. The multi-media exhibit will be on display until June 27th.
“We use repurposed pieces and parts to make beauty from chaos and disorder. “Creative Chaos” is the idea that chaos and uncertainty can lead to new forms and higher levels of order, creating meaning by putting crazy back in order.” ~ Andrea Stone
